Alexis is a Health Coach and Nutritionist (soon to be RD) based in Charlotte, NC and takes clients throughout the U.S. She received her Bachelors of Science in Exercise Science and Bachelors of Arts in Psychology at the University of South Carolina, and a Masters in Nutrition at Auburn University. Alexis uses her knowledge and passion for nutrition to educate her clients on how eating whole foods can lead to better metabolism, reduced stress, increased energy, balanced cravings and better health.

Before launching her own health coaching practice, Alexis dealt with her own struggles with food. Her freshman year of college she was diagnosed with Celiac's Disease and was forced to change her entire way of eating. She became super concious and aware of the foods that she was putting into her body which then led to extremely restrictive dieting. After months and almost a year of eating less than 1000-1200 calories a day Alexis then developed binge-eating disorder due to her restrictive ways of eating. And of course, the viscous cycles of binging and purging began. Alexis dealt with this silently for almost 3 years of her life until she she began to properly educate herself about how to properly fuel her body. It was here that she met a nutritionist from who taught her the benefits of eating whole and minimally processed foods and the ability to cure your body's ailments and heal your relationship with food by tapping into your intuition. Alexis quickly learned that she could live freely and eat intuitively and still reach her goals of having lean body. 

Alexis integrated these new food habits into her life and soon transformed both mentally and physically.  Since then Alexis launched Nutrition by Lex and has developed her own programs and nutrition plans that she integrates into her current health coaching practice with clients. With her experiences with food mentally and physically she is an expert in helping her clients let go of unhealthy food habit and find food freedom. Alexis provides one on one coaching to individual clients based anywhere in the United States.

Alexis Roberts is the Founder of Nutrition by Lex. She holds a Master of Science degree in Nutrition from Auburn University and is currently a dietetic intern working towards becoming a Registered and Licensed Dietitian Nutritionist.

With Lex’s coaching experience as a Health, Nutrition and Fitness Coach and doing the work personally, she’s uncovered strategies and tools people need in order to cultivate a healthier relationship with food and change behaviors for long-term health.
